All that I could ask for is that people actually notice the world around them in their everyday lives. In this work I implore the viewer to ask the simple questions:
Why was something created?
How did it arrive here?
What allowed it to endure – or hastened its decline?
It’s not a matter of utilitarianism.
It is the appreciation of the abundant and ever shifting life around us in this precious little corner of the world.
Through film, I record what is already visible, in the attempt to make one actually see.
